私がこの活動を始めたきっかけは自分の留学を計画したときでした。自分が外国にある程度の期間滞在し生活をするということは、自分が「外国人」になるということを意味していました。そういったときに日本での外国人への支援はどうなっているかということに興味を持ち始めて活動を開始しました。活動を続けていくうちに、日本の少子高齢化が進み外国人の支えがなければ国が成り立っていないこと、外国人の方々にも日本語学校生や留学生、一般企業で働いている方やALTの方など様々な立場の外国人の方が静岡にいることなどを知って、少しでも多くの方の生活を豊かにしたいと思いました。それと同時に、静岡市をより国際色豊かで多文化共生が可能な街にしたいと思いました。活動を継続していく中で、外国人の方々は多くの大切なことに気づかせてくれました。より多くの人が国籍を越えてかかわっていけるようこれからも尽力していきますので、応援よろしくお願いします。

Planning to study abroad made me think about this organization. Staying in a foreign country to some extent meant that I became a "foreigner". That's why I started to be interested in how Japan supports foreigners and then I began activities. While participating in activities, I realized that Japan's aging population is being supported by foreigners and there are some types of foreigners, such as  Japanese language students, exchange students, ALTs and etc. It made me want to enrich their lives in Japan and encourage Shizuoka city to be more international and multicultural. Also, the more I knew about them, the more important things they told me. In order to enable more people to interact with foreigners, I will keep doing my best, so I hope to receive the continued support of Compass fans.
